Suddenly, you can't throw a rock without hitting Charlize Theron in some major film or another. After earning rave reviews for a semi-dramatic turn in Young Adult, she's got two very big genre flicks coming up with Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman. Now you can add one more that sees her staying in the world of science fiction.
She'll join Agent 13, a sci-fi action flick to be directed by Rupert Wyatt, the man behind last year's summer hit, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. He's been pretty quiet ever since, with not much on the horizon except the eventual sequel and a spy thriller for Warner Brothers.
Not much else is known at this point, other than that it comes from writer T.S. Nolan. Expect more details to emerge soon. [Variety]
