Sure Shots: Bradley Cooper; Kevin Hart; Zoe Saldana

* Is Bradley Cooper the type of guy you'd expect to start his own production company? If asked that question a couple of years ago, most probably would have said "Hell no, kemosabe".  Since that time he's proven to be more than just a pretty face and dashing blue eyes(hey, I can accept his eyes are hypnotic). After scoring big with last year's Limitless, and a number of powerful dramatic pieces on the way, Cooper and his 22nd & Indiana production company have now picked up the rights to American Sniper, the autobiography from Navy Seal Chris Kyle. Jason Dean Hall(Spread) will adapt the book, which follows his 10-year career as the sniper with the most kills in recorded history, to the point where the Iraqis put a price on his head. At this point, Cooper isn't in the starring role, but it appears likely he will be soon. [THR]

* It was only a matter of time before Hollywood finally started taking notice of Kevin Hart's talent, and with Think Like A Man still soaring at the box office, we knew it would start leading to some major roles. Case in point: he's now in talks to join Kevin James in Valet Guys, taking on a role that was initially set up for Adam Sandler. Yep, that's about as high profile as it gets. That said, it still sounds like a potentially horrible movie. James and Nick Bakay(Sabrina the Teenage Witch) wrote the script, which follows two veteran valets at a high end South Beach hotel who get embroiled in a caper involving murder and a price sports car. * The latest sexy lady to join the cast of Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills? Zoe Saldana. Danny Trejo let word slip on her addition in a recent interview, stating that he'll get to kiss all of the women current in the film: Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard and now Saldana, who just recently finished filming on JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel. I guess Trejo forgot about Amber Heard, who joined a few weeks ago. Maybe he gets to make out with Mel Gibson too? Trejo promises the sequel will be more over-the-top than before, so you never know what might happen. Filming on Machete Kills should be kicking off soon in Austin, TX. [Moviehole]
