Robert Rodriguez brings back the Avellan Twins for 'Machete Kills'

As filming is currently underway on Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills, the director has once again managed to pull together a crazy combination of controversial paparazzi page headliners and wildly unexpected guest stars. Mel Gibon, fresh off another anti-Semitic tirade? Check. Charlie Sheen as the effin' President of the United States!? Double check. Maybe even martial arts superstar, Tony Jaa? Well, that last one's still just a rumor but you see what I mean. For all the new faces, nobody is more loyal about sticking to a core group of actors than Rodriguez, and he's bringing back a couple of sexy fan favorites for the sequel.

Variety reports that the devastatingly hot Avellan Twins will be reprising their roles from the first film and the fake Machete trailer that spawned the franchise. That means they'll be back spraying bullets and laughing crazily as Mona and Lisa, the killer nurses. Operate on me anytime, ladies. The duo, who also happen to be Rodriguez's nieces, played the Crazy Babysitter Twins in both Death Proof and Planet Terror.

And for another relatively new face, William Sadler(Die Hard 2) has revealed his joining of the film, although we don't know exactly what role he'll be playing. He has a tendency to play bad guys, so don't be surprised if that turns out to be the case here. This has been kind of a hot few months for Sadler, as he'll be suiting up against Tony Stark in Iron Man 3 as well. They all join a cast that includes the returning Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jessica Alba, with new stars Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, Demian Bichir, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, and apparently Edward James Olmos.

Machete Kills has the Mexican ex-Federale hired by the government to take down an arms dealer with plans of launching a weapon into orbit. Expect to see the film some time in 2013.
