Ok, so it's been about twelve hours since I finally took in Ridley Scott's long awaited, Alien-ish follow-up, Prometheus. And to be totally honest, I'm still sorta soaking it all in. Whether it completely works or not I'll save for my review next week, but it's a film that will definitely have people talking. Not just those who have that long time, emotional investment in the world Scott created back in 1979, but even those who may not know a thing about it but wonder what the fuss is all about. It's a film with a lot of big ideas and some truly jaw dropping imagery. I've said enough. Let's just leave it there for now.
My suggestion is that if you've managed to stay in the dark about many of the secrets Prometheus holds, it may be a good idea to avoid these four newly released clips, which I think hint at way too much, especially concerning the android, David(Michael Fassbender). But if you're not worried about that sort of thing, then please enjoy. Prometheus opens next week on June 8th...[Movieweb]
