Despite all of her off-camera personal demons, Lindsay Lohan keeps plugging along. She appears to be past the point where directors would feign interest in casting her just to drum up interest in their films, and has actually moved on to the point where her comeback can actually begin. She's completed filming on Liz & Dick, the Lifetime TV film in which she plays Elizabeth Taylor, and upcoming she has Paul Schrader's erotic film, The Canyons.
Next up for her may be Scary Movie 5, as TheWrap reports Lohan is entered talks to join the horror/pop culture parody franchise. After getting off to a hilariously bad start, the film is now moving forward with Malcolm Lee(Undercover Brother) directing, and recently added Ashley Tisdale and Erica Ash as two of the stars. Anna Faris has moved on to greener pastures.
We'll see if this actually happens, but if it does, Lohan has a pretty decent shot at reclaiming some lost glory. She's proven to be a great comedic actress in the past, and even though nobody expects much from Scary Movie at this point, it doesn't mean she can't thrive. Scary Movie 5 is set to open on April 19th 2013.
