Trailer Time: 'Hello I Must Be Going,' starring Melanie Lynskey

Melanie Lynskey has always been a favorite of mine. Perky and cheerful, and equally capable whether she's trying to make us laugh or cry, she's typically relegated to scene-stealing supporting roles. She was recently seen briefly with Steve Carell in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and with Paul Giamatti in Win Win. Two great films that she made even better. Earlier this year she started to get the leading lady buzz she's long deserved for her performance in Hello I Must Be Going, an indie dramedy that I heard many excitedly discussing on the streets of Park City.

With a September 7th release around the corner, a trailer for the film has been released, and it looks like a perfect blending of humor and insight that should be right up Lynskey's alley. She plays Amy, a 35-year old woman recently divorced and forced back home to live with her parents. Trying to get her life back on track, she enters into a torrid relationship with a 19-year old(Christopher Abbot from HBO's hit series, Girls), but soon discovers that merely being with someone isn't going to fix her problems.  The film was helmed by actor turned director, Todd Louiso(Love Liza), and co-stars Blythe Danner, Dan Futterman, and Lynskey's real life husband, Jimmi Simpson.
