After suffering a number of script problems and the need to escape two straight bad Platinum Dunes flicks, it looks like the newly re-titled Texas Chainsaw 3D is finally going to hit theaters early next year. With a trailer right around the corner, a rather disturbing new poster has been released for the film, showing the many awful looks of Leatherface, along with what's left of those who met the business end of his chainsaw.
Starring Alexandra Daddario(Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Trey Songz(!?!!), Tania Raymonde(Lost), and Scott Eastwood(Clint's son), this film is considered a true sequel to Tobe Hooper's 1974 classic horror, picking up right where it left off before jumping ahead decades to the story of a girl who travels to Newt, Texas to claim a deadly inheritance.
Directed by John Luessenhop(Takers), Texas Chainsaw 3D opens on January 4th 2013.[Fangoria]
