I don't know if there's a better example of just how good Rian Johnson's Looper could be than this newly released clip. In it, we see Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in some pretty serious prosthetics, having a verbal throwdown in the middle of a cafe. Their interaction dances beautifully along the time travel element at the heart of the story, with Willis' reluctance to discuss it hinting at the potential consequences of revealing too much to Levitt's character, a younger version of himself.
While the conversation is fun and more than a little tense, it's punctuated by a quick burst of violence that's kindof hilarious when you think of Willis needing to play dirty to beat Levitt in a fight. With the film less than a month away, I hope we aren't about to see a flood of spoilery footage. Looper co-stars Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano, Emily Blunt, and opens on September 28th. PLOT: In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market.
