The first trailer for 'Bullet to the Head', starring Sylvester Stallone

Um, can they retroactively bring back Wayne Kramer to direct this thing? All this week we've been seeing Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger use the release of The Expendables 2 as some sort of springboard to their other films. That means it's been an awful lot of old dudes with sagging muscles and oversized guns on this site lately. Arnold looks to have tapped into the fountain of youth in today's trailer for The Last Stand. On the other hand, Stallone just looks really tired in the newly unveiled trailer for Bullet to the Head.

Directed by the great Walter Hill(The Warriors), making his return to the big screen, the film has Stallone playing a New Orleans hitman who teams up with a young cop(a practically comatose Sung Kang) to take down the men responsible for their partners' deaths. Jacked to the gills with awful one-liners and enough Asian stereotypes to fill a Rush Hour movie, the level of quality here screams "$5 DVD bin". It kind of makes me wonder how things might have been if Wayne Kramer(The Cooler) hadn't gotten into a verbal tiff with Stallone, forcing his exit from the picture. I feel bad for Hill, though, who had the final edit taken away from him by Stallone, so let's hope this isn't a terrible end to a memorable career.

Stallone "takes out the trash" when Bullet to the Head opens next year on February 1st....[IGN]
