'The Hangover Part III' adds John Goodman as the villain
What constitutes a "villain" in The Hangover movies? I guess you could say Ken Jeong was a heel in the first film, although he didn't turn out to be that bad and is now kind of like the fifth Wolfpack member. Paul Giamatti in the sequel? Eh, I guess so, but his role wasn't that big. Whatever you make of it, there's another bad guy set for The Hangover Part III, and he'll be played by John Goodman.
Goodman, who makes every film better no matter what he's doing, will have a small antagonistic bit in the film, planned as the final piece of Todd Phillips' trilogy. As far as I can remember he's the first new face in a sea of returnees including Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Mike Epps, Ken Jeong, Justin Bartha, Mike Tyson, Sasha Barrese, and Heather Graham. What, no Nick Cassavetes?
The plot's still mostly under wraps, but the last thing we'd heard is that the gang would be busting Alan(Galifianakis) out of a mental ward in Tijuana. The Hangover Part III is expected to open on May 24th 2013. [Variety]
