The two most prominent horror video game franchises have new flicks coming our way in the next couple of months, with the arrival of Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, and Resident Evil: Retribution. While the former is looking to follow-up on what is generally considered one of the better genre adaptations, Resident Evil is nearing the end of what has been a lucrative run that has lasted more than a decade. Anybody think we'd still be talking about Milla Jojovich and Resident Evil all these years later? Yeah, me neither.
The fifth and penultimate chapter to the Resident Evil storyline, Alice(Jojovich) finds her continued war against Umbrella taking a turn for the unexpected when she uncovers a secret that turns her life upside down. It sounds like they're trying to set up a scenario where everything we've learned is a lie, but this is Resident Evil and nobody cares about that stuff. Just show shit getting blown up and hot chicks with big swords fighting in slow motion! Well, here ya go. The latest clip finds Alice in Tokyo with Ada Wong(Li Bingbing) battling a pair of Executioners in the streets. Hope those folks are ready for a serious tax hike to make up for all the property damage.
