Juno Temple, Kelli Garner, and Joe Anderson join 'Horns' with Daniel Radcliffe

I'm a huge fan of supernatural mysteries with eccentric protagonists, which is why I've been looking for the adaptation of Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas novels. But since there's still no clue when those will finally hit theaters(probably next year), one that's sortof taken its place in my mind is Horns, based on Joe Hill's book and starring Daniel Radcliffe in the lead. With Max Minghella coming aboard just a couple of days ago, it looks like the rest of the cast has been fleshed out with the addition of two of my favorite actresses working today.

Juno Temple, Kelli Garner, and Joe Anderson have joined the cast, although none of their roles have been revealed yet. Adapted by Keith Bunim with Alexandre Aja(High Tension) directing, the story follows Ig Perrish, a young man who discovers he has magical horns sprouting from his head, which give him the power to force others to confess their sins. They turn out to be a useful tool when trying to uncover the truth surrounding his girlfriend's murder.  It's likely that either Temple or Garner will play his dead gal. Minghella is set to play Perrish's friend, a lawyer with a hidden dark side.

Kelli Garner has been a personal favorite of mine ever since she and her streaky blue hair were in Larry Clark's Bully, and recently she was in the cancelled ABC series, Pan Am. Temple's an indie fave who has had one heck of a year already, having starred in Killer Joe with Matthew McConaughey, and appearing in a little film you might have heard of called The Dark Knight Rises. Anderson made his big splash in the Joy Division biopic, Control, and was seen earlier this year in The Grey.

Production on Horns begins this fall.[TheWrap]
