After a pair of really boring, indistinct posters released just last week, a much better one for Andrew Dominik's Killing Them Softly has just been issued. As one might expect from the guy who gave us The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Dominik's film isn't your typical mafia flick by any means, blending a role cold and heartless look at our current economic and political climate. Brad Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a brutal enforcer on the hunt for the guys who robbed a high stakes mob-protected poker match. James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Ray Liotta, Slaine, Sam Shepard, and Bella Heathcote co-star.
