Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche to star in romantic drama 'Words and Pictures'
After a pretty consistent run of flicks in the late 80s all the way up the late 90s, Fred Schepisi has sortof fallen off the map lately. The Six Degrees of Separation and Roxanne director earned some great reviews on the international circuit for The Eye of the Storm last year, but before that we hadn't seen him in close to a decade. Fortunately for us, it looks like he's trying to pick up the pace, and he's added a great duo to his next film.
Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche will star in Words and Pictures, an original romantic drama from Message in a Bottle scribe Gerald DiPego. Set at an elite New England prep school, the story follows a charismatic English teacher(Owen) and a private art teacher(Binoche) who complicate their working relationship by getting involved romantically.
Owen and Binoche should be fantastic together in what sounds like another offering for the more mature set. Filming begins next March.[Deadline]
