Although we've seen plenty from Django Unchained thus far, we have yet to see much from Don Johnson, and it can only be assumed Quentin Tarantino wanted to keep the actor's character secret a little bit. His is just one of a handful of very showy, atypical performances, and it's good to just see the veteran back on screen in an event film like this.
Johnson took to Jay Leno's show and brought along with him a clip from the film, and now having seen it I can tell you it's our introduction to his character, "Big Daddy" Bennett. Big Daddy owns a plantation that houses some important people to the story, but the rest is best left unsaid. Make sure you get a close look at Christoph Waltz's carriage, because it's one of the best early gags in the film. Jamie Foxx is in there, as well, and yes he's wearing that flashy blue outfit for a good reason.
