Six clips from 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'

The first reviews of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey are starting to trickle in, and while I refuse to read what other people write before doing my own, the early buzz from my colleagues has been positive. Not wildly enthusiastic, mind you, but it sounds like if you were a fan of Lord of the Rings then this will feel like a warm, comfortable blanket. That is, unless you're one of the handful who get sick at the increased frame rate, then you might not be comfortable at all.

Six new clips from the film have been released, revealing just small tastes of the action and the lighter character moments. In one clip, the fellowship gets attacked by a rather large wolf scouts,  causing some immediate tension between Gandalf and Thorin Oakenshield. In others we see the dwarves acting silly, then the party being chased by orcs, and oh, there's Gollum.

I'll be catching The Hobbit in just a couple of days, so look for my review to follow on December 14th. Or maybe earlier if I can get away with it. [BleedingCool]
