Wherever John Goodman goes, Oscars are sure to follow. The actor appeared on Jimmy Fallon's late night talk show, and it was noted that he was in last year's Best Picture winner, The Artist. He also factors heavily into Argo, which is up for the award this year. Not to mention his presence in Oscar-nominated Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, it does appear that Goodman goes a long way in getting movies recognized.
That should bode well for Monsters University, the prequel to Pixar's hit Monsters, Inc. Goodman unveiled the first clip, which is an extension of the first meeting between future buds Mike Wazowski and "Sulley" Sullivan. We caught a glimpse of it in the last trailer, and it looks like the two are going to be clashing roommates.
The scene begins about two minutes in, after Goodman finishes talking up The Hangover Part III, which also comes out later this year. Monsters University arrives on June 21st.
