Like classic slasher movie villains Freddy Kruger and Jason Voorhees, Adam Green's Hatchet franchise keeps coming back for more. The first two films scratched the itch for genre fans looking for a new iconic slayer to follow, finding it in the murderous and seemingly invincible Victor Crowley. Hatchet III brings Green back as producer and screenwriter, handing the directing reins over to first-timer BJ McDonnell. With a release date now set for June 14th, a new teaser has been released which should pump up fans of the hatchet-wielding maniac.
PLOT: HATCHET III continues the tale of the now-iconic villain Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder). As a search and recovery team heads into the haunted swamp to pick up the pieces and carnage left behind from the first two films, Marybeth (Danielle Harris) hunts down the true secret to ending the voodoo curse that has left the ghost of Victor Crowley haunting and terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades.
