Bradley Cooper Likes Amy Adams in New 'American Hustle' Clip

It looks like the star-studded cast and the 1970s sizzle haven't done much for David O. Russell's American Hustle as the early critics awards are being handed out. New York seems to have fallen in love with it the most, with the New York Film Critics Circle awarding it Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Jennifer Lawrence for her fiery performance. Of course, none of this matters in the end and the film is likely to be a major player when the Oscar nominations roll out.

A new clip has been released which two of the starry line-up O. Russell has assembled. The film is a very loose glimpse at the late 1970s Abscam scandal, in which the FBI used  con artists to help root out corruption. In this clip, Bradley Cooper plays FBI agent Richie DiMaso, as he attempts to charm con-woman Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) to work for him. Suffice it to say this is one of those films where everybody has an angle and someone is always being scammed.

Also starring Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, and Michael Pena, American Hustle goes wide on December 20th.
