First Look at Mary Elizabeth Winstead in 'Faults'

Mary Elizabeth Winstead and her director husband Riley Stearns have been working together for years on various short films, even before they were married back in 2010. So it made sense that as he planned his feature film debut with Faults, Winstead would be his first choice as leading lady. It was either that or he'd be sleeping on the couch.

Filming has completed on the thriller and along with it comes the first image, which of course features Winstead. Written by Stearns and co-starring Beth Grant, Lance Reddick, Chris Ellis, and John Gries, the film has Winstead as a woman under the grip of a mysterious cult. When her parents grow desperate to get her back, they hire the world's foremost authority on cults and mind control to kidnap and deprogram her.

The producers behind this year's impressive horror You're Next are behind this one, but so far there's no word on when Faults will be in theaters.
