Apparently Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel has not been retitled A Dame to Die For, at least not according to this latest teaser poster, which still refers to it as A Dame to Kill For. Otherwise there's little of note about this one-sheet, which features familiar Frank Miller imagery and a list of the film's stellar cast that includes Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Jamie Chung, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Julia Garner and Stacy Keach.
Written by William Monahan (The Departed), the film will combine a couple of Miller's classic, hard-boiled stories with some new ones, and reveals how Dwight (Josh Brolin, replacing Clive Owen) is hunted by his one true love Ava Lord, and comes to have the brand new face he sports in the first movie.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens August 22nd 2014, and it may be followed by a TV series.
