New International Trailer for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

 Now that Sony has unveiled their plan to grow the Spider-Man franchise beyond its humble little trilogy, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has taken on a whole new level of significance.We can probably expect the seeds of that expansion, which includes Venom and Sinister Six spinoffs, sewn in Marc Webb's upcoming sequel. And to help you suss out any clues Sony has been generous enough to drop a brand new international trailer.

There are bits of pieces of new footage in this German cut, with a good deal of it centered on the villain Electro (Jamie Foxx), Rhino (Paul Giamatti), and Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) who is getting awfully green around the gills. The pull of Spider-Man has always been how he balances his normal life with the burdens of being a hero, and in this trailer we see his occasionally awkward living arrangement with Aunt May (Sally Field), and glimpses of his growing relationship with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Even if the comedic portions don't really work, Andrew Garfield has really taken the role and made it his ow. Too bad he apparently won't be sticking around much longer. Yeah, we'll see about that.
