Simon Pegg has 'A Fantastic Fear of Everything' in New Trailer

It was way back in 2011 when the first image from Simon Pegg's A Fantastic Fear of Everything was revealed, followed shortly thereafter by the trailer. And now nearly two years later we're getting the second one just a few weeks before the film opens On Demand, suggesting there isn't a whole lot of faith this comedy will connect with many people.

That seems to be a trend for Pegg's comedies outside of his partners Edgar Wright and Nick Frost. Movies like Run Fatboy Run and How to Lose Friends and Alienate People didn't do him any favors and have probably been forgotten by most folks. In 'Fantastic Fear' Pegg plays a children's author who becomes paranoid after doing research on serial killers for a new crime novel.  Not the most inspiring premise but it looks like co-directors Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell have tried to spice it up with a few animated sequences. Overall this doesn't appear to be one of Pegg's strongest efforts, disappointing after the complex, enjoyable performance he gave in The World's End.

A Fantastic Fear of Everything hits VOD January 7th, before hitting theaters a month later.
