Poster and Trailer for 'Big Bad Wolves', Quentin Tarantino's Top Film of 2013

One can always expect a few head-scratchers to appear on Quentin Tarantino's list of the best movies, but almost nobody had heard of his pick for top film of 2013. That film was the Israeli  crime comedy Big Bad Wolves, which has actually been playing festivals for some months, but now thanks to Tarantino it's suddenly on a lot of radars.

A new trailer and poster put Tarantino's bold words, along with numerous other critics, front and center. Directed by Lior Ashkenazi and Rotem Keinan, the film centers on "a series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge, a vigilante police detective operating outside the boundaries of law, and the main suspect in the killings – a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder."

Is Big Bad Wolves truly the best film of the year? Unfortunately we won't find out until next year when it opens on January 17th.
