The rivalry between Marvel and DC is deeper than many know, and it's most certainly expanded into the cinematic realm as Disney and Warner Bros. compete for the biggest slice of the superhero pie. We've seen studios take subtle jabs at one another before, and we may be seeing another as Disney has moved Ant-Man to July 17th 2015, the slot once occupied by Batman vs. Superman before it shifted to 2016.
That sets Ant-Man in direct competition with Joe Wright's Pan, the film Warner Bros. moved into that position. Could this be retaliation for Warner Bros. moving Batman vs. Superman to May 6th 2016, the same day as one of Marvel's untitled films?
Oh the silly games of big money Hollywood.
