Now that we know Sony's plans for the Spider-Man franchise include Venom and Sinister Six spinoffs, leading all the way to a fourth film in 2018, it makes this year's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 all the more intriguing. If all of those villains are about to take center stage, the groundwork for it will be laid now, and a big part of that will be Jamie Foxx as Electro. Sony has released three new posters for the film, two of which feature Electro in all his electrified glory. We also can expect to see Paul Giamatti as Rhino and Dane DeHaan as the Green Goblin, and it wouldn't be surprising if a few more bad guys popped up. Maybe an early Venom sighting?
