The Amazing Spider-Man 2 debuts three new posters -- The film hits theaters in a few months, and Sony's getting a head start on marketing what's expected to be a great follow-up to its 2012 predecessor. The sequel sees our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man finding out more about his father's secrets, maintaining his relationship with Gwen Stacy, and battling not one, but two villains. The posters above show Spidey going head-to-head with Electro in Times Square. The film hits theater May 2, and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, and Sally Field.
Plot: For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
