Oh Kevin James. Remember a couple of years ago when his movies pulled in mad bank just because he was really fat and kind of an oaf? That schtick hasn't worked out for him so well of late, but in 2009 we were all responsible for Paul Blart: Mall Cop earning $183M worldwide. So we knew a sequel was coming at some point, and now it's found a director.
Andy Fickman, the guy who gave us winners like She's the Man and Parental Guidance, will direct the film nobody really asked for. James will reprise the title, probably girding up his loins to fall flat on his face a lot, and will co-write the script with Nick Bakay aka the cat from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Filming is set to begin in April. Excited?
