Christmas Comedy On the Way from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Jonathan Levine

Of all the genre-blending comedies put forth by director Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, The Wackness), perhaps the toughest to pull off was 50/50. Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starred in the cancer comedy that attempted to shed the light of humor on a tough topic, and for the most part it was successful creatively and at the box office. And it must have been a great time on set because the trio are teaming up once again, and this time they'll be tackling the holiday season.

THR reports Levine will write and direct an "untitled Xmas comedy" about three childhood friends who meet for their annual tradition of going out on Christmas Eve. A third actor is being sought to join Gordon-Levitt and Rogen as the best pals.

This one's being pushed for a summer start after Sony won a heated bidding war for the rights, so expect to see this one under the tree soon.
