Penny Dreadful. The Showtime series stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Billie Piper, and Rory Kinnear, and is set in Victorian England where literary figures such as Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, and Dorian Gray exist in reimagined form.
It looks like producers John Logan and Sam Mendes (
Skyfall), along with director J.A. Bayona (
The Impossible) are hitting every stop on the road to weird with this one, and I can't wait. Penny Dreadful premieres on Sunday, May 11th.
