Against all odds, Warner Bros. has won me over and I'm now extremely excited for
300: Rise of an Empire. The sorta-sequel to Zack Snyder's
300 opens next week, and Warner Bros. has released six bloody clips of historical warfare. Directed by Noam Murro and starring Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Jack O'Connell, Rodrigo Santoro, and Callan Mulvey, the story follows in the wake of the heroic sacrifice made by the 300 Spartans at Thermopyale. As Persian forces led by Xerxes (Santoro) and his brutal naval commander Artemisia (Green) take to the seas, general Themistokles (Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece to stop them and change the course of the war.
