It was looking like a reunion for director Leslye Headland and her Bachelorette star Kirsten Dunst when the two reunited for the upcoming comedy, Sleeping with Other People. There have been some changes now at the top of the casting, and while it's still a reunion, Dunst won't be a part of it.
Adam Scott, who also co-starred in Bachelorette, has joined the film, which stars Jason Sudeikis as “a womanizer who befriends a serial cheater, only for a romantic attraction to develop between them. Dunst has been forced to drop out due to scheduling, and in her place will be Community star Alison Brie. It's another solid move for the sought-after Brie, who recently agreed to join Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell in Get Hard.
Deals aren't set in stone just yet and Headland is hesitant to start celebrating about her talented cast...
Headland: "Films are always like, it may not happen, we'll see. Even going into the premiere of Bachelorette, I was like, 'It still may not happen'…I don't know if it's just being an assistant and having seen how the sausage is made, where you just sort of come at everything with this feeling of…'It's not set in stone, kids.' I've seen shit fall apart over less." [THR]
