Alison Brie to 'Get Hard'; Danny Trejo Finds 'Hope Lost'; 'American Ultra' Adds Walton Goggins

* Alison Brie (Community, The Kings of Summer) has joined Get Hard, the prison comedy starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. Directed by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder), the film has Ferrell as an investment banker wrongly convicted of a crime, and must toughen up for jail with the help of the guy who washes his car. Brie will play the fiancee of Ferrell's character.

* Now that he's done singing and dancing in Muppets Most Wanted, Danny Trejo is moving on to the Italian crime thriller, Hope Lost. Directed by David Petrucci and starring Mischa Barton, Daniel Baldwin, and Michael Madsen (basically a murderer's trio of washed up actors), the film follows a "bored young woman who dreams of the life of soap opera characters meets a mysterious man who charms her away from her small hometown then sells her to a pimp."

* Walton Goggins (Justified) has joined Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg in American Ultra, the intriguing and highly sought-after action film Lionsgate just shelled out a ton of cash to acquire. Directed by Nima Nourizaden, it has Eisenberg as a stoner who goes on the run with his girlfriend when it's discovered he was part of a government program to create Jason Bourne-esque soldiers.
