New Posters for 'The Raid 2', 'Need for Speed', and 'Bad Words'

I consider Gareth Evans' The Raid: Redemption to be one of the great action flicks ever made, and as someone who considers himself a connoisseur of the genre that's something I take very seriously. And yet The Raid 2 is not just bigger, it's got tons more action and a pace that is even more breathless. It's going to make a Hell of an impact upon arrival on March 28th (April 4th here in DC), but for now eager fans will have to settle for this new poster featuring many of the colorful characters who will be bringing the pain. Of course there's star Iko Uwais as Rama, but you also get a look at Hammer Girl and my personal favorite, Baseball Bat Man.

In a few days we'll be feeling the Need for Speed with star Aaron Paul (who was just on WWE Raw last week hyping the film), and now we have eight new character posters. The one-sheets show off the cast which includes Imogen Poots, Dominic Cooper, Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi, Fifty Shades of Grey's Dakota Johnson, Rami Malek, and more. Apparently Michael Keaton doesn't do acid trip character posters. Need for Speed opens March 14th.

And here are three suggestive "character" posters for Jason Bateman's foul-mouthed directorial debut, Bad Words. I'm sure you can figure these out with no help. Bateman plays an angry middle-aged high school dropout who enters a prestigious national spelling bee for his own mysterious reasons. Not only are we giving away passes to the film right now, but look out for an interview with Bateman in the coming days. Bad Words co-stars Kathryn Hahn, Philip Baker Hall, Rohan Chand, and opens March 21st.
