Return to Tatooine? 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Shooting On Location in Morocco
With filming confirmed to begin next month on Star Wars: Episode VII, it won't be kicking off in London's Pinewood Studios as expected. Badass Digest reports that filming will begin in six weeks on May 14th, with the first two weeks taking place in Morocco.
Why Morocco? It could mean a return to Tatooine, where some of those scenes were shot before. Tunisia was where the bulk of it took place and there is the possibility of J.J. Abrams taking the production there for a while, too. Either way, it looks like we'll be headed back to the home planet of the Skywalker clan at some point.
Expect the paparazzi to be out in full force when filming begins because securing set photos will be much tougher once they go back to London.
