Watch the 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Comic-Con Trailer and Panel; Robert Rodriguez Talks 'Sin City 3'

While many of the major films to show their wares at Comic-Con were met with solid response, one that got a pretty tepid reaction was Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Maybe it's because the film is so close to hitting theaters and we've seen so much from it, but there hasn't been a ton of strong buzz. Or perhaps it's because Rodriguez dicked fans around for eight years, promising the movie was "next" on his list only to shove it aside until now. Whatever the case, now that the movie is here Rodriguez and Sin City creator Frank Miller are already talking about Sin City 3...assuming there is demand for it.

Miller: “Robert and I are already talking about ‘Sin City 3. So you'd better show up for number two or they won't pay for it."

Right. And if I recall the panel ended with a "Seeya for Sin City 3" comment or something along those lines, but the point is that Rodriguez and Miller REALLY want there to be another one. Of course, they've said this before. We know Rodriguez is always busy and could get jammed up again, so why doesn't Miller just direct the third movie himself? Oh yeah, because he helmed The Spirit, tried to do it in Sin City style, and everybody loathed it.

Anyway, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens August 22nd. Check out the red band Comic-Con sneak peek and panel discussion, followed by a bunch of new posters.
