New Posters for 'Interstellar', 'John Wick', 'Fury', and 'St. Vincent'

We may not know a lot about what Christopher Nolan is doing with Interstellar, but at least the breath-taking film is getting some equally gorgeous posters. And better, they aren't just land-locked on Earth but tease what the film could look like once Matthew McConaughey and the rest of the cast leave the planet. The film, which co-stars Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, and many more, follows an interstellar voyage through a wormhole to try and find a new home planet. Interstellar opens November 7th in IMAX.

Don't set off Keanu Reeves in the new poster for John Wick, the hitman thriller which has received some pretty good early reviews. The film is directed by Chad Stahelski with Adrianne Palicki, Willem Dafoe, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Jason Isaacs, Alfie Allen, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo, and Michael Nyqvist co-starring, opening on October 24th. Here's the synopsis: An ex-hitman comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him. With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, JOHN WICK (Keanu Reeves) is a fresh and stylized take on the “assassin genre”.

Brad Pitt and his team five-man tank crew are featured on the new poster for David Ayer's WWII thriller, Fury, which opens October 17th. Here's the synopsis: FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

And lastly, here's a lousy poster for St. Vincent, Ted Melfi's comedy that has Bill Murray back in the Best Actor discussion. Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts, Chris O'Dowd, Jaeden Lieberher co-star in the October 14th release.  In ST. VINCENT, Maggie (McCarthy), a single mother, moves into a new home in Brooklyn with her 12-year old son, Oliver (Lieberher). Forced to work long hours, she has no choice but to leave Oliver in the care of their new neighbor, Vincent (Murray), a retired curmudgeon with a penchant for alcohol and gambling. An odd friendship soon blossoms between the improbable pair. Together with a pregnant stripper named Daka (Watts), Vincent brings Oliver along on all the stops that make up his daily routine – the race track, a strip club, and the local dive bar. Vincent helps Oliver grow to become a man, while Oliver begins to see in Vincent something that no one else is able to: a misunderstood man with a good heart.
