Let's not forget that in the midst of an extremely busy 2015 for potential blockbusters, the seventh Fast & Furious film will be right there, too. We haven't actually seen very much of it lately, but today puts all of that to an end with the reveal of a brand new poster which also has the movie's official title, Furious 7, along with news that the first trailer arrives in one week.
The trailer will debut on Saturday, November 1st as part of The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event at Universal Studios, broadcast live on the film's Facebook page. With James Wan directing, the film stars
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Ronda Rousey, Tony Jaa, Nathalie Emmanuel, Lucas Black, John Brotherton, Djimon Hounsou, and Kurt Russell.
The title isn't much of a shock, really. We call the previous film Fast & Furious 6, but it officially goes by Furious 6, a continuation of what started with Fast Five. With at least two more movies left in the high-octane franchise it wouldn't be surprising if they all have similarly shortened titles.
Furious 7 opens April 3rd 2015. Check out the full press release below:
