Given the star-studded cast Warner Bros. announced for Suicide Squad last night, it may be easy to forget that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is headed our way first. As an obvious lead-in to Justice League there are expected to be a ton of DC heroes and villains filling up the screen, but now Badass Digest has word on one more that die-hard fans will want to keep an eye out for.
According to Badass Digest, Batman villain Anatoli Knyazev aka KGBeast will be appearing in the film as an agent working for Lex Luthor, who will be played by Jesse Eisenberg. Part of Luthor's scheme will involve spying on metahumans, and he'll employ Knyazev as a pair of eyes on the street. So it sounds as if we won't actually see him as the enhanced assassin KGBeast, just as a human whose name fans will immediately recognize. Gotta love those Easter Eggs.
Part of last night's announcement was the news that Jared Leto would be taking over the role of the Batman's nemesis, the Joker. While the thought of that swims around in your head, just know that the character may have a part to play in Batman v Superman, as well. Superman apparently "knows about" the Joker, so he must have been causing enough damage to catch the Man of Steel's attention.
