Arnold Schwarzenegger Says He'll be Back for 'Terminator Genisys' Sequels

As we've seen in multiple movies thus far, the Terminator is extremely tough to kill. In fact, it looks like he'll be so tough in Terminator Genisys that he'll be back in a sequel, or at least that's what Arnold Schwarzenegger says. He tells fan site The Arnold Fans that next year he'll be shooting the sixth Terminator film, which is set to arrive on May 19th 2017. A seventh movie has been dated for June 29th 2018.

Of course, there's always the chance Terminator Genisys tanks and Paramount pulls the plug (ala Sony's Spider-Man franchise), but at this point all system are go for the full trilogy. Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, and Jai Courtney star with Schwarzenegger in a completely revamped version of the Terminator continuity. In this version, Sarah Connor was raised by the Terminator, who she refers to as "Pops". But given how flip-flopped the timeline gets in these films, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Terminator back as a killer at some point.

Terminator Genisys opens July 1st 2015 directed by Alan Taylor.
