Bryan Singer Reveals Cool 'X-men: Apocalypse' Concept Art

One of the great things about Bryan Singer and his work on the X-men movies is that he keeps the fans engaged with what is going on. Remember during the run-up to X-men: Days of Future Past he had a field day revealing the cast, and regularly dropped images from the set. Now he's back at it again with X-men: Apocalypse by sharing a piece of concept art on Instagram that appears to be of the titular villain and the Celestial ship that would be his base and center of power.

Apocalypse will be played by Oscar Isaac, which is pretty incredible when you think about it. What will be interesting is how much of Apocalypse's origin Singer and his writing staff decide to keep, and what they choose to change. He's generally considered to be the very first mutant and has crossed paths with many of the heroes throughout the Marvel Universe. If they're keeping the Celestial ship then they are planning to go pretty deep into his backstory.

X-men: Apocalypse opens May 27th 2016.
