The original Hot Tub Time Machine was a fun but generally forgettable comedy with a central premise that made franchising pretty simple. A bunch of goofy friends find a hot tub time doubles as a time machine, and they proceed to create all kinds of havoc in the 1980s. Simple enough, and the film did well enough to justify another dip with Hot Tub Time Machine 2, and it looks like more of the same.
Bringing back Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, Chevy Chase, and Clark Duke while adding Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs, the film finds the gang trying to save Lou's (Corddry) life by going back in time, but they inadvertently end up in the future. And in that future it appears Jessica Williams has taken over The Daily Show (she recently denied she's a contender, but y'never know!), and celebrity game shows are still terrible, even with Christian Slater hosting. Oh, and one of these clips is NSFW so watch it in the comfort of home.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 opens February 20th.
