The first couple of trailers for The Divergent Series: Insurgent have focused on the explosive action new director Robert Schwentke (replacing Neil Burger who split) is bringing with him. And to be honest the sequel looks considerably more exciting than Divergent, but in case you thought Shailene Woodley would be shattering worlds with her brain for two hours this clip will smack you back to reality.
The first clip from the film features Tris (Woodley) and her lover Four (Theo James) sharing a quiet, emotional moment. Things have changed for them both with the evil Erudite leader Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) sparking a war between the factions, and now Tris is willing to sacrifice herself to put a stop to it. Of course, Four isn't willing to let that happen but can he really stop her?
So many problems! So many emotional close-ups! For real, it's moments like this that having an actress of Woodley's talent pays off. Insurgent hits theaters on March 20th.
