Jason Momoa in Talks for Ana Lily Amirpour's Dystopian Romance 'The Bad Batch'

Jason Momoa will be keeping himself plenty busy with projects that have nothing to do with Aquaman or Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The second season of The Red Road should be debuting in a couple of months, and he's completed work on the film Sugar Mountain. But perhaps the most exciting of all is that he's now in talks to join The Bad Batch, the latest film from indie sensation Ana Lily Amirpour, director of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

According to The Wrap, Momoa is in talks for a lead role in the film, which we previously heard described as a dystopian love story that's a cross between Pretty in Pink and The Road Warrior. Further details call it "a post-apocalyptic tale set in a Texas wasteland where a community of cannibals reside." Momoa would be playing one of the main cannibals.

Momoa has actually been on board for awhile as he was present in the photo tweeted by Annapurna Pictures' Megan Ellison of Amirpour holding up the screenplay. Should have been paying more attention!
