New Trailer for 'The Water Diviner', Russell Crowe's Directorial Debut

Something tells me Russell Crowe will have difficulty promoting his directorial debut, The Water Diviner, outside of his native Australia. The film simply doesn't look or sound like the most exciting prospect in the world, but maybe the power of the actor's name will be enough to turn it into a success after opening stateside in a few weeks.

Crowe directs and stars in the film alongside Olga Kurylenko and Jai Courtney, with the sweeping historical tale set a few years after the Battle of Galipoli. When three of his sons are declared missing, a farmer travels to Turkey to find them and discovers evidence that one of his boys may still be alive.

The Water Diviner hits the US on April 24th.
