The Bellas go Global in New 'Pitch Perfect 2' Trailer

Can there ever be too much of Anna Kendrick singing her heart out to the world? Well, this week she can be seen and frequently heard in musical The Last Five Years (review here), she performs a rather insane song and dance number in The Voices (review of that here), and she's due to give a special performance later this month during the Academy Awards. And in case that wasn't enough, Kendrick also has Pitch Perfect 2 on the way with a brand new trailer arriving to get your ears ready.

Directed by co-star Elizabeth Banks and reuniting Kendrick with Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Skylar Astin, and Alexis Knapp, joined by new addition Hailee Steinfeld, the film has the Barden Bellas going big time in an international a capella competition. While the first movie came out of nowhere to be a smash hit at the box office and on the Billboard charts, the sequel won't be taking anybody by surprise. It also looks like the comedy will be much broader this time around, and we'll have to see how fans respond to that.

Pitch Perfect 2 opens on May 15th.
