That's what happened when Paramount shifted Mission: Impossible 5 from Christmas Day all the way up to this summer in order to avoid Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was a smart move, and now Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie are ready to unveil the fifth chapter of their action-packed spy franchise.
A brief teaser for the newly-titled Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation has been released with the full trailer expected to hit tomorrow. Reuniting Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Jeremy Renner with new additions Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Zhang Yingchu, and Simon McBurney, the film sees the IMF going head-to-head with a highly skilled terrorist group known as the Syndicate, an organization designed to be the "anti-IMF". Looks like Hunt and crew will be on the run once again.
Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation opens July 31st.
