With only a couple of weeks until Furious 7 burns rubber into theaters, Universal Pictures has been going all out in hyping the long-running franchise even though they probably don't need to. Fast & Furious has become "event viewing" in the purest sense, with audiences craving the next chance to see Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, and now Jason Statham jump cars off of buildings like a bunch of mad men.
The marketing train continues full throttle with the release of six new clips, but don't worry about having anything spoiled. Based on the early reviews from the surprise SXSW screening the crazy stunts we've seen are just a fraction of the film's total spectacle. These scenes give us a taste of the Johnson vs. Statham dream match, which naturally leads to one of them in a hospital bed. Plus there's the usual stuff about "family" before a brawny showdown between Diesel and Statham with lead pipes and everything. Yeah, it's on, and if you want a chance to see the film early this is the place to go.
Furious 7 hits theaters on April 3rd.
