Liam Neeson will Take Command of the 'Narco Sub'

So Run All Night hasn't really worked out for Liam Neeson the way his Taken movies do, but since he thinks he only has a couple of years of action movies left, it's time to just move on to the next one. He's now in talks to join the ex-Tony Scott project, Narco Sub, which isn't about a drug-filled hoagie although that would be an interesting change of pace for Neeson.

Narco Sub has been in the works for a minute, and was originally a project for the late Tony Scott. Doug Liman and Antoine Fuqua eyed the film for awhile, but it will be Game of Thrones' Brian Kirk at the helm. Neeson will play a disgraced naval officer who is forced by a notorious drug lord to navigate a submarine filled with cocaine past the Coast Guard. Ridley Scott and Simon Kinberg are producing with David Guggenheim (Safe House) having written the screenplay.

So don't expect a lot of gunplay in this one, unless they plan on having the sub sink to the bottom of the ocean. Neeson will be seen next in Ted 2.
