New Images from 'Fantastic Four' as Sequel Moves Back a Week

Earlier today Disney dropped a bomb on Hollywood by announcing that Star Wars: Episode VIII would be hitting theaters on May 26th 2017. News like that was bound to send other studios scurrying to move their films away from that date, and the first big jump has come from 20th Century Fox who have bumped the sequel to Josh Trank's Fantastic Four back from June 2nd 2017 to June 9th. It's only a week but it shows how concerned Fox is about having their film swallowed up by the Star Wars juggernaut. All of this assumes that Fantastic Four does well enough to warrant a sequel, because right now that is far from a certainty.

To help drum up some buzz for Josh Trank's grounded, realistic take on Fantastic Four, some new images have been unveiled by Total Film. Miles Teller, Jamie Bell, Kate Mara, and Michael B. Jordan star as Marvel's close-knit team of superheroes, with Toby Kebbell playing a version of Doctor Doom.

Fantastic Four opens on August 7th, and if you want a sequel you better pay to see it! Look how angry everybody is in these pics! They want that sequel!
